About us

 

 

 

AAPECA is committed to provide public awareness campaign of all forms of mistreatment against the AGED and the CHILDREN , we develop centers that offer socia-economic relief to the abandoned children family.Health care delivery and rehabilitation to abandoned and mistreated elders and children. AAPECA develop activities to prevent such mistreatment.

African Association for Prevention of Elder and Child Abuse(AAPECA) advocates the rights of the vulnerable in Afrcan society especially the AGED and the CHILDREN.

 

 

 

THE GOALS

of African Association for Prevention of Elder and Child Abuse (AAPECA).

 

1. We support international and local efforts to protect the right of the aged and the children.

2.AAPECA promote and provide professional and paraprofessional education and training that cut across cultural and ethnic barriers through multidiciplinary approaches to intervention and prevention of elder and child abuse in Africa.

3. We promote research, public awareness campaign and support all forms of practice in preventing maltreatment of children and the aged in the society.

4.We build clinics,rehabilitation centers for comprehensive health care delivery in urban and rural areas in our effort to treat the abused or abandon children and the mistreated aged people .

5. We provide training programs to professional and volunteer/social workers who indicate concern in treatment or prevention of aged or child abuse in Africa and beyond.

PROGRAMS;

 

Free medical care provision to rural motherless babies home in Obingwa L.G.A and other commuinities in Abia State Nigeria Phase 3.

To commence in October through to Novermber 2014. .

 

  • Resumption of construction work in AAPECA Rehabilitation Center that stopped since june 2012 because of lack of fund. The work will commence from December 2014
  • Second segment of urban mass child Abuse campaign and awareness rally will hold in Omoba town in Isiala Ngwa local government area headquaters tuesday 16th October 2014
